What we keep

Your account email and name, your home province, your language, the trips and days you record, your saved places and the papers you list. If you use a partner code, this information is shared with your partner.

Location

With automatic tracking on, the app works out the country and province you are in on your phone. It keeps one record per day per place. It does not keep a trail of where you went. Only places you choose to save keep their map position.

Who handles your data

We use Supabase to store your account and trips, Stripe for website payments, Apple or Google with RevenueCat for app payments, and Resend to deliver contact messages. They only receive what they need to do those jobs. We do not sell your information.

Shared login with Lanaii

CanTravel and the Lanaii app use the same login system. If you already use Lanaii you can log in with the same email and password. Your CanTravel data is kept separately from your Lanaii data.

Contact messages

When you write to us we keep your name, email and message so we can answer you.

Deleting your data

You can delete your CanTravel data at any time on your account page. You can also choose to delete your login, which removes your Lanaii account too. If you pay through the App Store or Google Play, cancel there as well.
